I am Welsh first, Britsh second, European, not at all, and the word 'multicultural', I had to look up. I also receive a pension of less than £10k per year, and that is my sole income. I will not bother you with my budget, but I can say that after being thouroughly fleeced in a divorce a few years ago, I had to start all over again.

The only option to me was to get a mortgage, and fend for myself. It was also my instinct.

When I read that a Somali family 'who used to be asylum seekers' are entitled to a £20,000 rent a year town house on the rest of us, I feel like asking why?

In fact I believe that the people that give these people such hospitality, should also be asked to explain why they do it.

I do not accept that these immigrants deserve anything at all. If they had the means, and the resources to get here from such a far away place as Somalia then surely they have the means to be able to look after themselves once they have been given leave to remain here.

So why do we have to treat them to such a life of luxury?

I suggest that you ask the local UAF (Unite Against Freedom) represenitive, and see what his answer is.

He will probably quote from the official 'Answers to difficult racist questions' book written by Peter Hain.

The truth is that we will continue to be invaded by scroungers as long as stories like this are published in the Daily Mail.

This is by no means an isolated case. There are tens of thousands of similar situations where councils are not empowered to simply say 'NO', and each time that they fail to do so a few hundred more of us lose the value of our income.

I hate the people that promote and allow this situation to exist, and I detest the people that sponge off me.

That is a personal emotion, but I will stand up and defend it, because these so called refugees live a life that although I have worked all my life, and served my country, I have only ever dreamed of, and does not exist as an option for the likes of me.

I would like to think that a genuine refugee would show some sort of thanks to this country. To this day I have not seen one report of anyone who has done such a thing.

Out of millions. Not one public vote of thanks. Says it all.

Time to reconsider our altruism?

I think so.
