In this article  http://www.thegreenarrow.co.uk/writers/jogs-blog/1876-dawn-parrys-hate-criminals I revealed how, a few days before the election, a singularly foul mouthed young man stormed onto the driveway of my home and ranted hate insults at me when I told his (seemingly 12 year old) sibling that I did not really want one of the leaflets they were "delivering" in the area for Dawn Parry the Conservative Party Candidate.

It is an unfortunate fact that true patriots must develop a fairly thick skin especially if they wish, as I have done, to bring the truth of what has been done to our country to the notice of the electorate, by standing in the street and asking for the support of that electorate at election time.

The thickness of the skin becomes particularly important if you have stood downwind (downgale more like) of a ranting lib-demmer in Abergavenny, tried to locate a frothing at the mouth so called Western Valleys UAF Organiser in Islwyn, or had the balls to go and Beard the Demon Peter Hain in his "lair" on the streets of Neath as our West Wales and South Wales Organisers and colleagues did in the Euro Election, or take the battle to the TV Studio as I managed to do in the General Election.

I happen to believe that those of us who choose to put our heads over the parapet and assert our legal right to put our case to the electorate in the street MUST accept that SOME of the reaction WILL be from some unwashed oik who lives for nothing more than the chance to hurl insults at us in a public place.

I happen to believe Great Britain would not BE Great Britain if we were to stomp down on such people doing this IN PUBLIC PLACES because after all we get SO much fun watching their antics on youtube.

But carrying out those same foul mouthed rants having trespassed onto the private property o the intended target is another thing altogether. Skulking round in hedges waiting to pounce on your victim as they come home from a hard day's tax paying work is going too far. And the ONLY person who thinks it is right and proper that every member of the public have the names and home addresses of every member of the British National Party is Diane Abbott, who said, very publicly to Andrew Neill in his "This Week" show "that it was very important that everyone knew where these fascists lived" UNQUOTE.

FORTUNATELY the police take a rather different line.

Which is why, after I called them to my house fearing what this foul mouthed oik might do when my back was turned, they agreed with me that such behaviour was not only unacceptable, but was a Section 5 Public Order Offence.

I was, this morning, advised that the individual has been traced, has been interviewed, and has admitted the offence.

Now despite my Viking ancestry I have no interest in hanging the oik by the balls on a bit of cheese wire, he is just a product of today's political system in which the mainstream parties are only just beginning to learn they cannot continue to treat the minority parties and the electorate with the contempt they have done for the past thirty or more years. I am satisfied that this foul mouthed oik has been recorded as such and that in due time he will learn better manners towards those who seek to use the legal path of the Representation Of The Peoples Acts, the foundation upon which this country is built and governed, and reserve his foul mouthed outbursts for those who are enemies of that democratic process in all its forms.

I will however be writing to Dawn Parry, the Conservative Candidate for Newport East. At the time of this incident she denied flatly that any of her canvassers would ever do any such thing, despite being given a running commentary by my first-time-voter daughter.

I wonder of she will maintain this facade of lies in the face of this admission of guilt by her activist.
