Plaid Pride. Not quite what my grandmother meant, I think

My great grandmother spoke welsh as her first language but I'm not sure what she - or her daughter who taught me to order beer in welsh if drinking in Cardigan because she said it was cheaper if you did - would have made of this.
Does someone have the telephone number for Plaid Cymru's Adam "Only Gay In The Party" Price ? I have by chance stumbled upon the perfect icon for "The Wannabe Party Of Wales'" latest attempt to curry favour with the electorate.
Sensing the need to harness the welsh Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgendered electorate (boy they must be desperate for votes) Price has openly welcomed the formation of "Plaid Pride" which they seem to consider essential to their success as a political party. And what better icon for such a venture than the symbol of their party, bent over by the environment in which it finds itself.
I thought the EHRC had made it quite clear that pandering to special interest groups is verboten if you were a political party. Or maybe I should find out whether a six foot two red blooded monogamous heterosexual white male whose ability to procreate within a nuclear family environment has been proven more than once would be welcomed as a member of this special interest political group.
However, I think I now understand why Mohammed Asghar jumped ship. We were supposed to think it was because Plaid refused to accede to his demands that they put his daughter on the Party Payroll. Something the Tories readily agreed to do in order to grease his path from Plaid To Tory. But that was all a smokescreen wasn't it. For as a good Shia Islamist (and he must be one, considering his presence on the chest-thumping parade they have every year to mourn the extermination of one of their leaders at the hands of the other faction) Asghar is surely committed to accept the views of every shia imam that the only place for The Only Gay In The Party" is dangling by the neck from the end of a crane jib.
