I was thinking back to the time when it seemed that the entire world was worried about population growth and the effect it would have on the planet and resources and how times seems to have changed.

Now it is breed, breed, breed - unless of course you are white, in which case it is abort, abort, abort.

Now I could quote stats at you that are mind boggling when it comes to population growth in places like Pakistan, Somalia and loads of other countries but that is not what this little article is about. It is about something I thought of whilst reading about the average incomes in places likes those named.

In Somalia the average income is $650 rising to $10,000 for a low earning pirate.
In Afghanistan, the average income is even less at $300

Not a lot you will agree.  Now think about this.  The British Population could be self sustaining at around 36 million or under a nationalist government that gives generous tax breaks and encourages mothers to be mothers to more children then we could rise that figure over a couple of generations.

But a fixed size population is not something that Global Business wants, they want more CONSUMERS and what better way to increase profits and the personal wealth of those who own the businesses then to export the cash strapped poor of the world to a country that will give them money to spend.  In fact a country that will do more than give them money to spend but buy everything they need to settle in their new consumer zone.

If we have 20 million immigrants, then that is 20 million more mobile phones to be bought.  20 million TVs they will want.  20 million pairs of shoes, some of them will even use toilet paper.

You get the picture.  Just a thought.
