Five of our troops murdered by Afghan policeman.
Three Grenadier Guards and two Royal Military Police were murdered as they rested in a compound after passing through into a police checkpoint that was guarded by one of their so called Afghan allies.
Having returned from patrol and thinking they were safe they removed their body armour and helmets to take a rest - trusting their so called Afghanistan allies to defend them - a mistake that cost them their lives, when one of the Afghan policemen turned his weapon on them.
The conservatives lambasted this site on one of their blogs because of this article here, in which I highlighted concerns about the increasing numbers of moslems being allowed to join our armed forces and the creation of the Armed Forces Muslim Association.
No solider facing a moslem enemy to the front is going to feel safe with a moslem "comrade" behind him in battle. I would be thinking fragging and friendly fire round about then.
Well I was almost right. I said behind them in battle. But these men of ours who died, were not even in battle - they thought they were safe amongst comrades.
Let us hope that British Troops learn a lesson and always have one man at least guarding against the guard who protects them.
You cannot trust a moslem, not now, not ever.
