As I have said before, I have very strong reservations about the origins and aims of the English Defence League.  That said I recognise the right for all organisations to make peaceful protests without fear of physical attacks from political terrorists such as David Cameron's UAF mob.

In a statement about a planned protest in Manchester the EDL have released the following details about their planned actions for the day.

Our Protest will be held in Piccadilly Gardens at 17:00, during which we will have an expert speaker present to address everybody, and also a 2 minute silence for all of our Heroic Soldiers lost in Iraq, Afghanistan and indeed every war in history, as without their heroism, our freedom of speech would be non existent.

After this, we will all sing our National Anthem.  Anyone taking part in any racial, anti-religious or violent behaviour (unless in self defence) will be suspected to have links to either far right, or far left groups, looking to darken the name of the EDL, and will be asked to leave. We need to prove, once again, that we are a peaceful protest organisation, and violence would never have become a factor at our protests if it was not for the UAF tactics of winding up crowds into thinking we are a "far right racist" Organisation, with links to the BNP.

Well before  we go on with what the SWP/UAFs counter plans are, there is just time to take a swipe at the EDL and their constant attacks on the BNP.   The British National Party is not and never has been a "far right racist" organisation and I urge all true supporters of the BNP to stay away from any planned EDL event and trust none of their organisers or their alleged motives.  I believe them to be puppets whose purpose is to split the nationalist movement.

As to be expected, the sad losers of the UAF who will unite behind anyone except their own kind, have announced their intentions to show their Dhimmitude and attack the EDL on behalf of the moslems who find the UAF to be more than useful fools.

The following three quotes(that I have screen copies of) were made on one of the red shite sites and reveals yet again their intentions of inciting violence at a peaceful protest.  These responses are their replies to how to behave during the planned two minutes silence in memory of British War Dead.
