What I write next is my own personal opinion and I know not whether it is shared by my fellow Green Arrows or others within the BNP.  Beneath is a comment posted by Franke Forte who is on video as calling this site "Despicable".

Just because I support the opinions of the Eddy Butler camp does not mean I have hatred or animosity toward ANYONE else.

Very soon we will have a result to this Leadership election and before I put in my 2p worth let me say this. On April 9th 1865 at the Appotomax Court house in Virginia USA, a very proud and dignified man sat upright astride a white stallion, he was impeccably dressed in full clean Military regalia. That Great man was Robert Edward Lee, General of the Confederate Amy. He came to surrender to Ulysses Simpson Grant, The Union General.

Grant, was extremely generous in his surrender terms. Grant allowed Confederate Soldiers to keep their horses and weapons, He took no revenge against the Leaders and as a result for the most part a lot of ex Confederates went about building a United States after their surrender.

Contrast that with the peace Michael Collins made with Britain when he was offered a truce. He had to give part of his Country back to the British invaders and there were other conditions which resulted in his assassination and a CIVIL War in Ireland, which to this day remains ununited.

So after this is over, do we ban all those including me, who stood for the Eddy Butler campaign? Or does Eddy Butler ostracise and banish all those who stood against him if he wins?. I say only a fool would commit such acts.

Provided ALL people swear allegiance to this Party, a line HAS to be drawn. This is why we need to say what we believe to be right and fair, BUT...personal jibes and name calling and accusations are not on. In any argument truth and right USUALLY lies somewhere in between the warring factions.

Least said now is soonest mended. I promise complete loyalty to WHOEVER is picked to lead this Party, I f I cannot do this, I will resign and leave. Keep up the good work ALL who promote the Nationalist cause.

Not quite the Gettysburg Address but at at least it looks like the writings of a sensible, reasonable man calling for reconciliation after this leadership challenge is over.  Now someone whose heart has not been hardened sufficiently by this vicious little war brought about by those who would destroy the British National Party might even be tempted to take the Olive Branch.

It is true that Robert E. Lee was a great general, in my eyes the greatest ever but General Stonewall Jackson was also a great American Civil war general and he believed in The Black Flag policy and so do I.

Now for those of you not familiar with The Black Flag, I shall tell you briefly.  It was a flag flown alongside the colours of some confederate regiments to signify that they would neither give nor accept quarter.

Now Robert E Lee is quoted as saying; "It is well that war is so terrible -- lest we should grow too fond of it" and I agree with him there - war between comrades is terrible.

That is why the British National Party must fly The Black Flag and not forgive those who have damaged the British National Party and why people like Frank Forte must be expelled from the party if they are found to have broken any party rules - so there will not be a future civil war.

Now a cynic might say that Frank Forte's comment was written with the knowledge that he knows their battle is lost.  Perhaps some would say that Forte knows that the destroyers are not going to get the required nominations for the brothel creeping Butler and he now wishes to build a bridge to return to the party over, along with others who have plunged their daggers into our back.

But we will give him the benefit of the doubt - he has by all accounts been a good nationalist - and accept his words at face value and now I will say why we must throw his olive branch back in his face and look back in time.

When those creatures whose names I will not mention, released the British National Party membership to Searchlight and the press, many of our people lost their jobs, had homes attacked, were attacked and received death threats.

A number of people in and outside of the party rallied around the creatures and defended them by saying they were innocent - then the truth came out and they crawled back to the party.

But many of them who crawled back are now making the same accusations about Nick Griffin MEP and the party as Butler and Co are doing now.  We are repeating history.

Now mercy was shown to all those who had been duped and they were allowed back into the party.  It is doubtful whether they were ever trusted again but they were back in harness and a line was drawn under the matter and the subject dropped.

But now many of those people who were "rehabilitated" are now supporting the Bennett/Butler act and causing internal division yet again.  This must not be allowed to happen again.

Now Forte ends his piece by writing "I promise complete loyalty to WHOEVER is picked to lead this Party".

He may be telling the truth but I for one would not take the chance, that in a year from now, he and all those people supporting Butler do not reorganise in secret (the way they did on this occasion) and launch yet another bitter attack on the party from within.

Sorry Frank but as far as I am concerned this site is flying the Black Flag, so expect no mercy or support from this site.  I will push for the expulsion of all those people who have broken the rules including you.
