David Drew MP - Nasty piece of work that UKIP want you to vote for

The activities of the Communist thug front group the so called Unite against Fascism are well known. Their national organizers are Martin Smith and Weyman Bennett, both leading members of the Socialist Workers Party.

They believe in smashing the state, capitalism and their opponents. By force and violence if necessary. UAF break up lawful meetings and attack not only their political opponents, but also the police on numerous occasions as shown in recent counter demonstrations against the English Defence League.

This is one example taken from the UAF's own website:-

"On Sunday 8th March, the Fascist (sic) BNP was forced to cancel their 'Battle of Britain' champagne dinner in South Gloucester. Nick Griffin was due to speak at the event, which was meant to fundraise for the Euro-elections. However in less than 24 hours notice, Unite Against Fascism (sic) supporters mobilized and 35 people turned out to oppose the BNP fascist gathering, including local Labour MP David Drew, members of the Fire Brigades Union, UCU lecturers union and NUT teaching union, who brought banners".

Another incident took place when a violent yob tried to attack Nick Griffin MEP BNP:-

"Nearly 20 British National Party officials were having a meal in the hotel after a day of discussion on strategy when a young man, who admitted to the local newspaper that he had been tipped off that Nick Griffin was in the hotel, travelled there to confront the BNP leader.

As Nick left the hotel after an excellent meal, the 18 year-old attempted to throw a glass of beer over him. He was restrained by a BNP official and then escorted out of the hotel. Nick and his wife Jackie then set off for London to appear on the Andrew Marr Show the next day, and the BNP contingent left for their various hotels in Stroud. Nick’s assailant tried to return to the hotel later that evening and was told that he wouldn’t be welcome there again"

As far as the MEP was concerned the matter was over, but now he has been forced to set the record straight after Stroud Labour MP David Drew, told a pack of lies about the incident in the House of Commons, under parliamentary immunity. Source: BNP News.

Amazingly the UK Independence Party is asking the electorate of Stroud to vote for UAF supporting Labour MP, David Drew!! The following is from today’s Times:-

"Lord Pearson of Rannoch, the party leader, began the day by urging some of his own candidates to tell their supporters to vote for someone else. He wants them to follow the example of Steve Parker, who is standing for UKIP in Stroud, and has produced a leaflet in which he declares: “I ask you to vote for David Drew [the Labour candidate] if possible. He is a committed Eurosceptic, who will continue to fight for our freedom in Parliament and I don’t want to stop him getting there."

Drew’s record in the House of Commons is somewhat enigmatic, but certainly not in tune with UKIP’s stated policies!

Do the members of UKIP really support MPs who stand with communist thugs who deny lawful assembly and stop people exercising their democratic rights and who desire left wing socialism?
