Luton Today and the "Peace Protestor"
Ok, we know that Luton Today is owned by the viciously anti British National Party media group Johnston Press Plc and as you can see from their share price above, it seems that the readers and advertisers have had enough of reading Labour lies and propaganda, such as the piece below that I have cut from Luton Today and left to discover the truth elsewhere.
A Luton peace protestor has called for a ban on British National Party propaganda being posted through residents' doors.
Peter Wakeham, from Luton for Peace with Justice, has called for BNP campaign material to be stopped after leaflets were put through the door of his Bushmead home by the postman on Monday.
Mr Wakeham said: "One leaflet is pure racial hatred against Muslim people and I'm sure contravenes the current anti-hatred laws.
"I wish to take this matter further to find out if indeed the police consider this kind of material racial hatred and that the local BNP can be prosecuted.
"I'm not a Muslim, but I find the attached leaflet revolting and offensive."
He said: "Not that many years ago this kind of filth would not have been allowed to be posted to people's homes."
Now just why Luton Today should hand over a page on their rag to someone like Peter Wakenham is beyond me and describing Wakenham as a Peace Protester is complety mind boggling, especially when you consider that Wakenham is a regular contributor to a communist site that advocates violence against the British National Party who recently posted the following from Peter Wakenham.
You can find all of Peter's contact information and the purpose of Luton Community Rights action by clicking here. His website however seems to have vanished but this is what Peter is all about.
By all means at our disposal do we need to keep the attack up on the far right.
We need to be on the streets like @antifascist said, we need to write to MP's (they have to answer you) write to the papers regularly, get on radio phone ins tell people what the fash are really all about.
Use all means at our disposal - have demos, sit ins, civil disobedience, information stalls, processions etc get out there and let the people know what is going down.
Stan I live in Luton (hooray!!) and I'd like to hear from you please.

Luton Community Rights Action

We try to help members of our community but special efforts are made to include people who are or feel excluded from our community e.g.
- people from black and minority ethnic communities and migrant workers
- people experiencing mental health problems
- people experiencing violence or abuse
- asylum-seekers and refugees
- gay, lesbian, bi-sexual or transgender people
- gypsies and travellers
- offenders and ex-offenders
- people harassed by the authorities or bullied at work
Well BNP members and supporters are certainly harassed by the authorities and many have lost their jobs for their patriotic beliefs but somehow I do not see Peter offering any help to them.
So reading the page on Luton Today, one has to wonder whether they are just too lazy to do any research on the people they give a platform to or are they just "carrying out orders" on behalf of their masters to provide a platform to all who are anti-BNP.
