Just another thug with money

What a great way for a research blogger like myself to start the day.  Failing to realise that the readership of their on-line rag is somewhat different to their hard-copy readership that stupidly pay for their tat, The Sun hands me on a plate, the chance to rubbish them and bring you some news at the same time.  I shall not let you or them down.

In an article entitled Asian TV millionaire set to join the BNP, they report the story that a Pakistani immigrant to Our Country, Mo Chaudry (I wonder what the Mo is short for) is to apply for membership of  the British National Party in order to "RILE them - because he is Asian".

"I want to antagonise them and attend their meetings,...."

This avowed trouble maker then states the blindingly obvious by saying "I will not be welcomed with open arms".  No I guess you will not Mo but your membership fee will be and given that you have already stated publicly that your purpose is to disrupt and antagonise the members of a perfectly legal political party I also suspect you will not be a member for long.  No refunds sorry.

So what do we know about Mo Chaudry?  Well we find out quite a bit as usual.  Brought here when he was nine, father owned a grocery business, Chaudry started and still runs a "property" business from which he used the money to buy Britain's largest indoor water theme park WaterworldWaterworld likes to discriminate against non moslems and women by having male moslems only open days but we wont bother with that now.  Personally I stay away from places like Waterworld, I have no desire to swallow the spit of an enricher or anyone else for that matter.

Reeking of hypocrisy, over what is clearly a publicity stunt for his dirty water business, it was Chaudry, who on hearing the news that the BNP were to welcome Sikh members said:

“It’s nothing more than a cynical publicity stunt,” said Mr. Chaudry who came from a humble background near Rawalpindi in rural Pakistan and is now worth £60 million.

Back over on the Sun story, Chaudry finishes by saying something that sets my Action Stations bell ringing.

"I live near Stoke, which is becoming a BNP stronghold - and don't want it being known as a racist city."

Stoke? Stoke?  Locating one, serial one.  Stoke.  That is where, back in 2009 that a certain asian businessman by the name of Mo Chaudry was arrested along with two council officials, one of whom was the former Mayor, on suspicion of misconduct in a public office and complicity in corruption while in public office.  Ahh.  The charges were dropped after the Crown Prosecution Service - that has an extremely hight percentage of asians working for it - decided there was not enough evidence to pursue the case.   No surprises there then.

Yes, I can see now, why Mo might not like a BNP council reopening the files on his arrest and would do what he can to prevent that happening.

Finally it was good to see that someone is using Sidewiki to leave responses to such articles and the one left next to The Sun story by Shropshire Lass, is really rather good.  Get aboard and help strike back by downloading the Google Toolbar and using SideWiki.
