Dark echoes from the past

Throughout history, various groups have been excluded from various jobs and professions, once it was Catholics, then in France it was the Huguenots. In the last century, first the Kulaks in Russia, the Jews in Germany, and in Pol Pot's Cambodia it was academics and the middle class were banned and excluded because they were despised in the eyes of the ruling orthodoxy.
In New Labour Britain it is now the BNP who are already banned from joining the police, and soon possibly from becoming teachers, and they are banned for reasons very similar to those in Russia in the 20's and Germany in the 30's. They hate us so they ban us. History repeats itself, the victims change and the oppressors change their names, but ultimately they are all the same.
