Jon Crudass, "Hardworking Community Activists" and Royal Parasitic Vermin
I'm not exactly what one might call a fervent Royalist myself, but I know that first up for the job of (Figure)Head of State is we ever ditched the Monarchy would be Cherie Booth and her oh so reluctant Husband, and that is all the persuading I need to be convinced 'Liz and Phil' should keep the job.
Not so Jon Cruddas and the gang of three he has assembled to contest the South Hornchurch seat in 2010 though. Take a browse at the facebook page for "Labour 4 South Hornchurch" but be nice to them if you do, they can't help their political beliefs after all.
But even my "slightly jaundiced" view of the monarchy - (which is actually my view of the particular monarch-in-waiting who stands next in line to the throne, rather than the current incumbent or the establishment itself) - does not remotely go anywhere near far enough for the "hardworking local activist Peter White" who hopes to reap electroal succes from the fools who would vote for a red rosette if a donkey wore it. For as it says here White said, in reply to Tory MP Andrew Rosindell's Facebook page campaigning for a Diamond Jubilee Public Holiday in 2012 .....
"What is the point of celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of someone who is born into a position of privilege, she is a parasite and milks this country for everything she can, she has more front than margate asking for extra money from the civil list. Maybe she should sell a couple of her properties.
Maybe if she wants Buckingham Palace to maintained from public funds she should open it to the public. Don't get me wrong i have no problem with a public holiday but lets have one that means something, rather than celebrating vermin."
I remember various Labour Party leaders describing the organisation they led as a "broad church" but if you ask me it's time to start considering the merits of excommunication.
