Some time ago I wrote on my own blogspot blog of my disgust at finding the truth, courtesy of the UK National Kidney Federation on the problems this country faces with transplant organs. Discussing the problems a shortage of organs and growing numbers who need them bring, the site made some pretty startling statements. I do not understand how New Liebour's worshippers of the two headed, two faced god of multiculturalism and enrichment have not had them censored. For the facts revealed on that website are that black and minority ethnic minorities in the UK have a higher need for organs than the white population, and guess who they expect to harvest the shortfall from.

Of course the need for donated organs grows daily as medical advances find ways to exploit them. And The Good Old American Way seems to be to chide persuade coax and cajole people into doing the right thing and leaving one's bits and pieces in the surgeon's in-tray when the rest is consigned to fire, water, earth or whatever, although I wonder how that squares with the yank's constitution and religious rights of the individual.

Now it is very hard to apply sense to some statistics, but on the site I referred to earlier the claim is there in black and white that Black And Minority Ethnic Individuals suffer higher rates of organ failure that white people. Why is this ? I do not know and in many ways I do not really want to know. That road leads to the sort of shenaligans that give our enemies the ability to yell "Eugenics !!" and let us be honest I prefer to stuck to known facts on this one. So, there we have it then, a bold as brass statement that on balance if you round up 1,000 black and minority ethnic people monitor their wellbeing, and do the same for 1,000 white people, significantly fewer of the white people will end up on the "in need of transplant list" than their black and minority ethnic counterparts. Nothing to do with money, diet, education, housing. Just skin colour and the genes that go with it.

So you would think that since these people know they are at greater risk and know there are fewer of them in our population, you would think they would be more likely to act in each other's interests, wouldn't you. Not a bit of it. An aggravating factor in the transplant hopes for black and minority ethnic individuals is the fact that the percentage of blacks and minority ethnics consenting to organ donation is statistically significantly lower than the percentage of whites.

Hardly surprising then that I read yet again on the BBC Web Site of demands that a system of presumed consent where your opt-out of the scheme is the only way to ensure you are not harvested whether you like it or not. But then again, in a society where the white man is thought of as an animal to be slaughtered, what can one expect.
