Well it looks like 2010 is going to be a year of endless fun. Gordon The Clown is facing a leadership challenge !!

I was just about coming round from my customary New Year hangover when the jokers in charge of the two parties that consider themselves the main contenders in "The Election Gordon Brown Can No Longer Avoid" decided the opening days of the year were a fine time to kick off an election campaign (!)

So Diddy David and Gormless Gordon came out of their respective corners, ranted a bit at each other and at anyone else who got in the way, embarrassed The Third Man (Nick Who ??) into demanding that everyone understand that just because he's thinking of selling his supporters out it does NOT make him a "Rent Boy Looking For The Best Whip To Submit To"

And so I thought it would go on, and on, and on. But what's this I see on the BBC News Website

Following on from the Charles Clarke Bring A Rebel With A Bottle Party fiasco in which the former Minister, put out to grass for being unable to administer a pissup in a brewery, decided to give his "significantly less than gruntled" ego a bit of a massage by orchestrating a coup, it seems that Patricia Hewitt (whose moment of fame came when she "renegotiated" contracts with GP's that took them from being very, very, very highly paid to being hugely, astonishingly, disgustingly highly paid) and Geoff Hoon (the most miserable excuse of a Defence Secretary ever to try to do the job since .... well since Des Browne actually) yes these two "worn out has been's" are trying to stir up what remains of the spirit for a punch up in the Labour ranks so as to try and oust Gordon Brown in time to get someone else in time to turn things round and get a fifth term in office.

Someone else in the top seat ? I wonder who. Mandy And His Brazilian Boyfriend perhaps ? Well that might be an idea, as when Labour get kicked into the gutter he can turn somersaults to go with his juggling act and offer himself to the people as the new CONSERVATIVE prime Minister. After all Mandy has already said he is willing to stick the knife in Brown and Turn Tory to keep his finger on the pulse of power.

Hmmm. Maybe Gordon needn't start packing his bags just yet.
