Asian News uses "The R Word" to describe attack on white man by three asians

My God. There must be an election coming. "The Asian News" has today done something I have rarely seen. In covering an attack by three Asian Men on a 17 year old white man and his girlfriend, they used the "R" word. Yes folks, "The Asian News" has finally admitted what we;ve been saying all along, that racism cuts both ways.
January 04, 2010
A MAN was assaulted by a gang in a brutal race attack.
The 21-year-old white victim was walking with his girlfriend on Clarkes Lane, Rochdale, when they were approached by a large group of Asian teenagers.
The group began attacked the couple while shouting vile abuse. Although the 17-year-old girl managed to struggle free, her boyfriend was repeatedly punched and kicked. He suffered a fractured ankle and injuries to his nose and face.
The gang were aged between 16-20. One of the attackers was an older, slim youth, 5ft 8 ins, with short black hair and pointy chin and nose.
But there is a sting in the tail of this report.
You see, the attack occurred two months ago and the police investigation at the time failed to turn anything up. And despite much digging in on-line newspaper archives, I'm buggered if I can find any mention of this attack at the time. I had, of course, expected to find a nondescript entry in the same paper failing to mention the racial taunts or the colour of the attackers.
Oh yeah, one more thing. "The Asian News" is part of a large media group as you can see by the similar mastheads on half a dozen online papers covering the story. Except that all the others reported this two days earlier. Clearly The Asian news had more important things to say for the past two days.
