Is Crocodile Hahal ?
As our regular readers may know I sometimes pop over to the Online site for the Manchester based newspaper "The Asian News" and when I do I rarely leave without finding something to laugh about.
Latest offering to whet my appetite is the crocodile curry being served up by this pair of "entrepreneurs" Sam and Ala Mia.

Their ideas for what sound like a tribute restaurant to Steve Irwin and Ray Mears worry me slightly though. I've had a kangaroo burger and ostrich steak but even I might pause before attempting the following banquet which sounds like something Heston Blumenthal might have dreamt up while fantasising about reprising Clark Gable's role in Mogambo
As well as crocodile and kangaroo, Ruchi – run by brothers Sam and Dan Miah – also offers ostrich and African springbok. And the brothers are keen to start experimenting with zebra, impala, buffalo and wild boar
But this set me thinking. Is crocodile kosher ? Oh sorry, same throat slitting, different God, of course I meant is Crocodile HALAL .....
Well according to the cult's American Imams, despite being an animal that is not restricted to one of either water or land, and despite being known to be cannibalistic - both of which seem to be tendencies that make the devout cultist uneasy about wielding the knife near the neck, it is indeed fit for cult consumption
But I bet the imam has other ideas about the wild boar curry. However, I think I've found an idea for a stall at next year's Red White and Blue. Wild Boar Vindaloo, anyone .....
