The hardline Marxists over at Hope not Hate are starting to reveal their real selves. Nick Lowles aka Grima Wormtongue is spouting his anti democratic bile by demanding that Durham University Debating Society withdraw an invitation to Andrew Brons MEP to debate Multicultural Britain.

Durham University Debating Society has invited Andrew Brons, a BNP MEP for Yorkshire & Humber, to debate Multicultural Britain on Friday 12 February. The HOPE not hate campaign is opposing this move and we’ve launched a petition calling on the invitation to be withdrawn.

Some people believe that by debating with Brons we can defeat the BNP’s arguments. A few people have even emailed me overnight pointing to Griffin’s humiliation on Question Time.

........ Many of us might have been delighted with Griffin’s appalling performance but this view was not shared by everyone. Many people, particularly in those areas where the BNP is strong, took a very different view. They attacked what they saw as the one-sided nature of the debate and identified with Griffin’s victim status.

As we all know question time was a bear pit of political aggression, fanatically one-sided and designed to intimidate political decent; a tactic so beloved of extremists and bullies everywhere. It should have worked. But despite Grima’s belief that it was a job well done and should have killed off the BNP, the vast majority of folk saw it for what it was. The establishments attempt to bully backfired spectacularly. Actually Nick Griffin did rather well.

And now Grima is running scared and showing classic signs of panic when the bully realises to his dismay that the victim is standing up and fighting back. The anti-democratic tactics that have served the establishment so well all these years are starting to fail. And so they have gone back to the discredited and utterly pointless “no-platform” policy. What they don’t seem to realise is that the people WANT to hear what the BNP have to say. Any attempt to silence us will backfire just like all previous attempts have.

In the coming election battle Hope not Hate will be teaming up with the Daily Mirror to spout it’s anti British poison:

There will also be an 8-page supplement inside the Daily Mirror.
