Gloomy Sunday

Morning BNP. Hope you are well? If you are, then do not play the above track as it will certainly depress you. It is Sarah Brightman's version of the Hungarian Suicide Song and by all accounts it is the music that people most like to top themselves to. UAF supporters please feel free to get drunk and play as often as you like. UAF manic depressives might also like to play this track also.
So what is there to be gloomy about? Well I just checked into UK Tabloid and their site is down, reporting hardware failures. It looks as if they are going to have to replace some hardware and so it looks as though we may be without one of the best True News reporting sites out there for some time. I wish you well guys. I know what you are going through and I hope that you are getting the support you richly deserve from those who use the information you provide us with daily. Thankfully there is now The Daily Truth to fill the gap until the guys are back up and running.
Right, what else is there to be gloomy about. Oh yes, our new sites readership. Well as you can see from this link and the Alexa rating on the side, we are shooting up the charts. Our ranking position on day 2 of putting the site up was way above 11 million - on the official launch day, just over a week ago, we stood at just above 6 million. This is good but we have a bit further to go to catch up with our old faithful blog.
We are currently 1000 page hits a day down and have lost about 300 regular readers per day. Our first time visitors per day are averaging 300 but this is a 50% drop on the old site, but to be expected, as the old site had that many articles out there, that the site was constantly being discovered by new readers in their search engines.
We are are improving the site almost daily now but again still have a long way to go before I personally will be happy with it. I am also very aware that I am lucky to have the support and skills of both John of Gwent and Anjin-sama.
Sorry. Have I not introduced you to Anjin-sama? Well Anjin-sama is our latest patriot volunteer to join our band and he is responsible for the look and feel of The Home of The Green Arrow and is doing an excellent job behind the scenes.
He is an ex-pat working in Japan and has taken his pen name Anjin-sama from the Japanese honorific title given to William Adams, who is believed to have been the first Englishman to ever reach Japan. It means Mr Pilot and without him we would not be so far along as we are now. I will be publishing soon, a guide that he has produced for writers, that will be of use to anyone who wishes to upload images to blogs and websites. Thank you Anjin-sama, your assistance is very much appreciated by us all.
Looks as though this Sitrep(Situation Report) is going to be longer than I first envisaged. Go make a coffee or tea and I will go crack a can and then we will carry on. Meanwhile let's have some music whilst your kettle boils. Sunday Girl by Blondie.

Something about that Debbie Harry. Right where were we? Sitrep Report. Right.

. As you can see our current status is Green thanks to those kind patriots.
I intend to spend some of the money in paying three months in advance for add free advertising on the Green Arrow Forum which is coming along very well now that we have managed to recruit some dedicated moderators.
One of the biggest expenses of keeping the sites going as always been my exceeding the fair usage policy of Vodafone and I have decided to cut costs by taking out another contract with them for another 5gb account at £25 per week. This will give me two dongles for £50+vat per month but will cut my data bill by 50% if I go carefully and stay below 10gb. Their charge of £15 per extra GB is crippling me but Vodafone is the best there is for many reasons - connection reliability being the main one.
I have upgraded the statistics software and this has increased charges for software by 50% but it is a must have for monitoring the system. Have renewed the IP blocking software contract and bought some system maintenance software. Current operating costs are well in excess now of £125 per month and without your support it would be impossible for me to continue personally.
Right, there is lots more but that will have to do for now. Can I ask all blog owners to update their links to this site please and also ask all readers to drop links of to as many different places as possible.
By the way, here is a site you should visit. Just go read some of the comments, especially the ones about "shooting whitey".
