Nick Griffin MEP and chairman of the British National Party as said it is ""not acceptable to present inadequate accounts", after learning that the Electoral Commission had fined the Party £1,000 for the late filing of them.

In order to prevent this waste of over 30 Party Members' money happening in the future, he has promised to improve matters by outsourcing the completion of accounts to an independent chartered account.
