The Green Arrow is not an Happy Bunny this morning.  In fact, he is a real Mr Grumpy.

Early rise to get some work done and try and do some research and update The Fallen List before adding a couple of new features to the site and what happens?  Almost two hours wasted on the damn comments again.

I am seriously now thinking about taking the following actions.

1. Disabling anonymous comments so only registered people can comment.
2. Raising the number of comments posted to an higher limit so that more posts are moderated even if it means more work for me.  Some of these recent comments, had I seen them first, would not have gone through.

I have had quite frankly enough of off topic comments by people with personal obsessions on certain subjects, even though their comments may have some merit.  I just do not have time to check every comment posted, it is as simple as that.

Whilst I welcome links to other sites dropped in at the end of relevants comments, I am fed up with seeing and having to moderate the same text and link dropped into every article on the site.

From now on, I will delete all comments that are off topic and all links to other sites that I consider are abusing our sites willingness to help spread the truth.

Persistent offenders will be banned from commenting and their IP addresses may be blocked.

For those of you who feel a need to debate an off topic subject then take it to Our Forum or Chat Room.  You are sucking up my time.  Margaret Hodge is getting fed up with waiting for me to rip her to bits and Peter Hain should have already had another good cyber bashing of me.
